Front ROOM & Entry

Welcome back to our Heritage Homestead. Let’s take a tour of our front room and entryway.

The front room uses a colour taken directly from my granny’s rug (seen here). This space is meant to feel like a cozy, multipurpose den. A space to have some time alone, play a game, get some work done (if necessary), or to use as an additional bedroom.

The front room is filled with custom bookcases that stretch to the vaulted ceiling. This helps the room feel expansive while the colour drenching keeps the room feeling cozy.

We kept the front entry simple but considered the details. Using herringbone tile and simple, warm colours allows the entry way to really draw your eye through the vacation home to that river view (not pictured 😉).
